AB Volvo hereby invites the media to a press conference on February 3 2012 in conjunction with the release of the Volvo Group full year report for 2011. The press conference will take place 09:00 at Tändstickspalatset in Stockholm.

Olle Högblom, 50, has been appointed President of Volvo IT. Olle Högblom is currently Senior Vice President Infrastructure & Operations at Volvo IT in Gothenburg, Sweden. The appointment is effective immediately.

The number of votes in AB Volvo has changed due to the conversion of a total of 390 Series A shares to a total of 390 Series B shares. The conversions were implemented with the support of the opportunity for Series A shareholders to request conversion of Series A shares to Series B shares, which was entered in the Articles of Association at the 2011 Annual General Meeting.
