Smartphone system
Volvo Logistics and Volvo IT are testing a new smartphone system which speeds up and improves the flow of information during the delivery of new vehicles to the customer. Using the smartphone, the driver who is transporting the new vehicle can report that the vehicle is on its way, update the schedule and notify the system when the vehicle has been delivered to the dealer.
