Our PTA web based application (derived from the Premium Transportation Authorization process) is a tool that simplifies the management of premium transportation shipments for your company-that is, unplanned shipments where a premium for service is charged.
The PTA application allows for the entry and updating of premium shipment information for all desired flows. It enables the tracking of PTA costs, and allows reporting, research and analysis on all PTAs based on specific criteria chosen by the user (shipment reason codes, shipment date ranges, supplier, destination, parts, etc).
