As a valued supplier, you have been established as a user of Volvo Emballage for the Volvo and/or Mack brands.Volvo Emballage is a pool of packaging material used by over 3000 suppliers globally, and is the standard required by Volvo manufacturing plants worldwide. Volvo Emballage allows for the standardization, flexibility, and productivity necessary for the cost effective movement of parts throughout the supply chain, and ultimately to the point of use at the manufacturing plant.
The Emballage process works as a bank account. You, as a supplier and Emballage user, are required to maintain the amount of Emballage in your personal account. This is made easy by the use of our Microsoft Windows based website that enables you to order material and record outbound shipments quickly and easily. With this system, several employees at the same location can use it at the same time, so as tasks are delegated (ordering or recording of outbound shipments), more than one individual can be on the site, performing different functions, at a single time.
